Shipping Policies

All orders are processed within 24-48 hours.  Most orders received before 3PM EDT M-F are processed and shipped the same business day.  Orders placed on a weekend or holiday will be processed promptly on the next regular business day.

All orders are shipped via UPS Ground unless otherwise advised by the customer. Current Shipping Rates are as follows, based on order total:

 As of June 1, 2008:

Flat Rate Shipping of $14.95 (via UPS Ground) on all orders up to $149.99.

Orders over $150.00 receive Free UPS Ground Shipping.

UPS 2-Day Air and UPS Next-Day Air Saver rates are calculated based on order Weight and Destination Zipcode.

Orders placed after 3:00 PM (EDT) cannot be guaranteed to ship same day. 

Orders received after 5:00 PM (EDT) will be processed on next Business Day.

Backorder Policy

Back Orders: We make every effort to maintain accurate quantity-on-hand and out-of-stock numbers on our website. However, occasionally a backorder situation will occur. All back orders will be shipped within 45 to 60 days unless otherwise advised by the customer for any cancellations. Please advise us if you wish to cancel your back-ordered item and we will gladly issue a prompt refund.

 

Return Policy

All merchandise must be inspected upon receiving and any discrepancies, defects, or shortages must be reported to Leather Motorcycle Jackets Direct Immediately.  If merchandise is defective or is in perfect condition it can be returned within 30 days of the purchase date for a full refund (minus shipping) or exchange.   

Defective or damaged merchandise is always given a 100% refund or exchange.

Refunds and Exchanges Policy

A Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA #) is required for all returns.  Please contact us for an RMA # number prior to returning any product.  Please write the RMA # on the outside of the each carton for quicker service.  Items returned to us or our supplier without a  pre-approved RMA # will not be accepted or credited.   Customers are responsible for shipping charges for returning merchandise 'to us', for exchange or refund.

We will gladly exchange your purchased item for a different size within 30 days of purchase at no additional charge.  This offer applies to one exchange order per purchase and does not apply to exchanges for a different color or style.  Returned merchandise must be in like-new condition, with no signs of wear or damage and with all tags and packaging materials intact and returned with the merchandise.

Please examine our Sizing Charts carefully before ordering and order according to your actual measurements, not the size that you think that you will need.  Fewer returns helps us to keep our prices as low as possible.

The standard $14.95 shipping charge will be deducted from the refund amount of FREE SHIPPING items returned for refund only (to cover the cost of shipping the original item to you).  All other items will be refunded original merchandise cost.

Exchanges for a different style or color are given 100% of original purchase price (pre-shipping total) credit toward exchange merchandise, but will be charged for return shipping.

Leather Motorcycle Jackets Direct and our supplier reserve the right to determine the nature of any defects and/or discrepancies of all returned merchandise.  Any Credits or Replacements will only be made after returns have been received by Leather Motorcycle Jackets Direct.

Merchandise which shows obvious sign of wear or abuse will not be accepted for exchange or credit (except in case of warranty returns - where applicable).

 

Damaged Goods Policy

Damaged or defective goods may be returned within 30 days for refund or exchange. Please contact us for a Returned Mechandise Authorization number prior to returning any product. Items without a pre-approved RMA# will not be accepted.

Restocking Fee

Restocking fee of 15% will be charged on merchandise being returned 31-60 days after the invoice purchased date.  
 
Except in the case of Warranty Returns (where applicable) no merchandise will be accepted for return or exchange after 60 days.
